Job Role: Java SDET
Location: Omaha, NE
Duration: Contract
We are seeking a Java SDET with strong automation testing and software development experience.
Required Skills:
- 3–7 years of experience in Automation Testing / SDET roles
- Strong programming skills in Java
- Hands-on experience with automation and regression testing
- Experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, and API testing
- Experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks
- Knowledge of REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and backend validation
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Data Structures, and Software Design Principles
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Exposure to frontend and backend application testing
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with REST Assured, Cucumber, Playwright, or similar tools
- Prior software development experience
- This role is ideal for candidates with a strong automation background who can apply software engineering principles to build scalable and maintainable test solutions.
