Job Title: Design Engineer
Location: Richardson, TX ( Min 4 days from office)
Duration: Full Time
Required Skill and Experience
- Design, validation, manufacture, and delivery of aircraft Fuselage and propulsion structure components.
- Areas of expertise may include primary and secondary structure design, payloads design, and lofting
- Design of components considering Tolerance stack up, cost effectiveness, manufacturability, and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements
- Expertise on GD&T Functional Tolerance and Annotations
- Collaborate with stakeholders - Present Reviews and gate checks - prelim, Intermediate and Critical design review
- Present the solution in the meetings to various stake holders of the customer.
- Ensure to meet the agreed schedule with the customer and their suppliers by releasing the parts.
Preferred Skill and Experience
- Knowledge of Aerospace industry and standards
- Experience in CATIA V5 (Surface design, Sheet metal, Tubing\\Ducting, Composites)
- Experience in Enovia
- Experience in the design of Aero-structures \\Nacelle Systems
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Proficiency in CATIA V5 and the ability to initiate and implement engineering design and process changes for aircraft components and assemblies.
