Job Title: Billing Agent – Healthcare Claims

Work Model: Hybrid (20 weeks in-office training, then hybrid model)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Billing Agent to join our healthcare client’s team. The Billing Agent will be responsible for researching, entering data, and processing healthcare appeals/claims using various systems and tracking tools. This role will also involve resolving complex issues, with support and escalation available for non-standard tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and process healthcare claims and appeals.
- Enter and update data in healthcare systems and tracking tools.
- Identify, assess, and resolve complex issues in claims processing.
- Seek guidance or escalate issues outside of standard procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail for accurate claims processing.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new processes and systems.
- Strong communication skills (preferred).
- Computer/technical skills (preferred).
Additional Information:
- No prior healthcare claims experience required; training will be provided.
- Candidates must be within a 90-mile radius of the delivery center.
- Hybrid role after 20 weeks of in-office training.
