Job Description
We are seeking a Sourcing Specialist to support supply chain and procurement operations by creating, maintaining, and resolving purchase orders while ensuring efficient purchasing workflows across internal teams. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, procurement system experience, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create purchase orders (POs) accurately and within required timelines
- Manage existing POs including updates, confirmations, and issue resolution
- Identify and resolve past-due purchase orders
- Perform data cleanup and validation activities
- Support preparation of the SRM system for migration to GEP
- Coordinate with procurement, planning, finance, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain accurate purchasing records for audits and reporting
- Assist in process improvement and standardization initiatives within supply chain operations
Required Skills
- Experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, or operations support
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills including:
- VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP
- Pivot Tables
- Sorting & Filtering
- Experience working with ERP, SRM, or procurement systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools
- Familiarity with GEP or similar procurement platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
Education
- Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field preferred
