Job Summary:
- We are seeking a Senior .NET / AWS Engineer to join our team in the McKinney, Texas area. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in AWS cloud services and .NET development, along with solid integration experience.
- Experience in the Life Insurance domain and familiarity with Resonant are highly desirable. This role requires a technically strong professional with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and support scalable applications using .NET technologies.
- Architect and implement cloud-based solutions leveraging AWS services.
- Lead and contribute to system integration efforts across platforms and applications.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and best practices guidance to team members.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to long-term technical strategy.
- Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, security, and reliability.
Required Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in software development, with strong expertise in .NET technologies.
- 5 years of hands-on experience designing and deploying solutions in AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, etc.).
- Proven experience with application and system integrations (APIs, REST services, messaging, etc.).
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and cloud-native solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the Life Insurance domain.
- Experience in modern DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
