Job Description
We are seeking an experienced IBM Workload Scheduler Administrator / Infrastructure Architect to join our team. In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS/Tivoli) environments, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive operational efficiency. This is a hybrid role based in Riverwoods, IL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable IBM Workload Scheduler solutions to meet business requirements
- Administer and support IWS/Tivoli environments, ensuring optimal performance
- Analyze existing systems and recommend improvements to enhance functionality and efficiency
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to team members
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective measures
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in architecture
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for architecture processes and solutions

Required Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in architecture or infrastructure roles with focus on IBM Workload Scheduler
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and administering IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS/Tivoli)
- Strong system analysis and architecture development skills
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Knowledge of industry standards and architecture best practices
- Proficiency in documentation and technical writing
- Strong collaboration and leadership skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Adaptable to a hybrid work model and capable of managing multiple priorities
