Data Product Manager

The Data Product Manager plays a key role in analyzing business processes and guiding the design and implementation of data-driven technology solutions. This role leads the full lifecycle of data products from discovery through development ensuring alignment with user needs, business goals, and enterprise data initiatives. The position requires close collaboration with engineering teams, solution architects, analysts, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related analytical field.
• Master s degree preferred.
• Proven experience in data product management with strong discovery and research capabilities.
• Strong technical foundation with knowledge of modern data technologies and architecture.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Skills

• Proficiency in data analysis, data warehousing, and data architecture concepts.
• Experience with software development practices (ETL, CI/CD, monitoring, error handling).
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management.
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools.
• Expertise in product discovery, user research, and prototype testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Define product strategy and roadmap aligned with enterprise data goals.
• Lead product discovery through stakeholder workshops, user research, and usability testing.
• Translate discovery insights into prioritized product features with engineering and architecture teams.
• Manage cross-functional communication, stakeholder alignment, and product advocacy.
• Use data analysis to drive decisions and ensure product data quality.
• Define and track KPIs, manage budgets, and prepare product performance reports and collateral.
