Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Data Product Manager to lead the lifecycle of data-driven products, with a strong focus on product discovery, stakeholder engagement, and delivery alignment. The ideal candidate will bridge business and technical teams to define, build, and optimize data products that deliver measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Vision
Define and maintain data product strategy and vision aligned with enterprise Data Office goals
Develop and evolve product roadmaps based on user and business needs
Identify and prioritize enterprise data opportunities through research and analysis
Product Discovery
Conduct workshops and design sessions with stakeholders to define product requirements
Perform user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to validate concepts
Create mockups and prototypes to support solution design
Conduct competitive analysis and identify differentiation opportunities
Use data-driven insights to identify trends and inform product direction
Product Development & Technical Oversight
Collaborate with engineering, architects, and business teams to translate requirements into features
Prioritize features based on business impact, feasibility, and value delivery
Oversee execution of data product development lifecycle
Stakeholder Management
Engage stakeholders across business units to gather requirements and provide updates
Ensure alignment between product vision and business objectives
Support adoption through training and stakeholder enablement
Data Analysis & Insights
Leverage data analysis tools to generate actionable insights
Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across products
Performance Metrics & Reporting
Define and track KPIs and product success metrics
Prepare reports, dashboards, and executive presentations
Support product-level ROI, forecasting, and performance analysis
Develop product documentation including product charters, one-pagers, and case studies
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
6 10 years of experience in data product management or related roles
Strong understanding of data-driven product lifecycle management
Experience working in product discovery and user research
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work cross-functionally in Agile environments
Required Technical Skills:
Data analysis, data warehousing, and data architecture concepts
Understanding of data modeling, ETL pipelines, and CI/CD workflows
Experience with data visualization and reporting tools
Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Experience in alerts, monitoring, and error handling in data systems
Preferred Skills:
Experience with enterprise data platforms and cloud data ecosystems
Strong background in product discovery, prototyping, and usability testing
Experience working with large-scale enterprise data programs
Familiarity with Agile product development practices
