Proficiency in supply chain software (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle, JDA) and process mapping tools.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Other Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required:
Previous work experience in a JIT inventory program.
Previous experience using a personal computer with Microsoft office applications and automated inventory/tracking system.
Other Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Preferred:
Experience with supply chain analytics and data visualization tools.
Project management certification (e.g., PMP).
Familiarity with sustainability and risk management in supply chain operations.
Working Conditions

Operational Management:
Essential Job Statements
- Evaluate and improve end-to-end supply chain processes including procurement, warehousing, transportation, and order fulfillment.
- Oversight of the Constrained Item Review and Action Team – manage item health tracker and approved product substitutes in the ERP
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in supply chain workflows and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., procurement, logistics, IT, finance) to ensure process alignment and integration.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and workflow diagrams.
- Monitor supply chain KPIs (e.g., inventory turnover, order accuracy, delivery lead time) and report on performance.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies.
- Support digital transformation and automation efforts within the supply chain.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Demonstrates the ability to perform other duties as assigned and/or participates in special projects to support the mission of VCUHS and the Department.
