The Receiving Specialist receives and verifies incoming purchase orders using automated system(s); research packages that don’t have purchase orders in a timely manner; and keeps records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
The Receiving Specialist delivers all incoming packages to the correct location as soon as possible. Duties include but are not limited to receiving, shipping, unpacking, verifying, and recording incoming packages.

Essential Job Statements
- Utilize MMIS system to receive packages
- Appropriately receives packages and safely and securely prepares for transport.
- General maintenance, including cleaning, organizing, and securing inventory
- Load and wrap items utilizing pallet jackets
- Delivers items to end users (internal customers)
- Verifies accuracy of deliveries
- Verifies PO and receipt accuracy in MMIS
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Ensure responsibility and visible commitment of diversity equity and inclusion programs/initiatives through collaboration and implementation of initiatives across the health
