PART TIME - 20 hours weekly plus rotating call

Key Responsibilities:
Requirements:
o Must achieve CST, TS-C, or CORST certification within 24 months of hire.
Experience:
o 0-2 years of experience as a surgical technologist required.
o Experience working in an acute care setting as a nursing assistant or aide (if no surgical technologist experience).
Education/Training:
o High School Diploma or equivalent.
o Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Program, military training program, Licensed Practical Nursing Program, or Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (RN Interns Only).

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up sterile field and gather supplies for surgical cases based on knowledge of instruments and equipment to be used.
- Pass instruments to surgeons during surgical procedures.
- Perform count procedures per policy during surgical cases.
- Function under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
