Job Title: Property Manager
VCS Property Management, LLC is expanding throughout the Portland Metro area. We are looking for those who want to grow with us. Current opening is for a part-time onsite manager in Hillsboro/Aloha area between 20-25 hours hours/week. Hours are flexible and may grow. Excellent opportunity for experienced leasing consultants ready to take the next step in their career.
This is responsible for the overall operations of the property with heavy emphasis on leasing. This is key in overseeing operations, coordinating vendors, lease administration, resident relations, monthly reporting and other duties as assigned.
Expectations
- Manage the day-to-day property operations including resident connections, lease administration, rent collection, delinquency management, first line of financial oversight, and property marketing.
- Consistently for excellent customer service with residents and clients and positive collaboration with VCS colleagues and vendor partners.
- Consistent and clear communication with supervisor, residents, colleagues and vendors.
- Respond to prospects via phone, email and text to lease vacant apartment and focus on executing the marketing plan to attract and retain residents
- Respond to resident concerns to successfully resolve maintenance or other issues.
- Apply Landlord Tenant codes, property codes and Fair Housing rules consistently.
- Attend educational and training workshops as directed
- Other duties as assigned
Education And Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of one property management experience is required
- Knowledge of Fair Housing and Oregon Landlord Tenant Laws
- Experience in AppFolio is a plus
Skills And Requirements
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong professional and diplomatic interpersonal skills to effectively and sensitively communicate with residents, prospects, vendors and colleagues.
- Intermediate level skill with Google products.
- Sensitivity to confidential matters is required
- Ability to work independently, take initiative where merited and prioritize effectively
- Must read, write, comprehend, and converse in English
- Ability to use general office equipment, such as telephone, computer, printer, scanner and copier.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance is required
- Ability to lift 20 lbs.
