WHAT YOU WILL DO: AccountingManaging the day-to-day bookkeeping tasks within the accounting software such as accounts payable and receivable, cuts checks, and sends out invoices. Establishing different accounts, as needed. Creating new companies’ chart of accounts in accounting software for newly created entities. Ability to perform balance sheet reconciliations such as monthly bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and note payables to financial institutions.Record keepingMaintaining records for multiple entities and ensuring documentation is accurate. Works with team to maintain daily cash schedules and summaries for managements review. Preparing the annual 1099 filings for all required entities under the supervision of a manager. Advises management on compliance needs and deadlines. AdministrativeResponding to the owner/manager requests, managing vendor relationships, and providing support to the family. Ensures the accuracy and completion of the monthly transaction deadlines. Assists with daily mail functions and tax return filings.
