Location: Toronto, ON Employment Type: Full-time Role Type: Existing Compensation: $17.85 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience. Secord Animal Hospital is currently welcoming a Veterinary Reception, Client Care to join our team! This is an exceptional opportunity for an organized, motivated, and empathetic individual to join us in a very important support role for the entire hospital. In this role, you will help our clients and their pets feel welcomed and appreciated. Excellent customer service skills; a real aptitude for putting pets and pet parents at ease and creating a welcoming environment Ability to answer a multiline phone system and track and book appointments effectively Scheduling appointments; Admitting and discharging pet patients Invoicing/billing; creating estimates and processing payments Take initiative and work independently A Veterinary Assistant (VA) or Veterinary Assistant Office Administration (VAOA) program certificate is an asset General housekeeping duties; cleanliness of reception area, pet holding areas, and common areas Willingness to learn more regarding; veterinary services, updated medical office procedures, and assist the Veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments A love for all companion animals!!
