VCA Aurora Animal Hospital invites you to be our newest Emergency Patient Care Coordinator !
As a Patient Care Coordinator , you will play a vital role in supporting our Doctors and Technician team by ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our clients and patients. Your ability to create a welcoming, low-stress environment will be essential in delivering exceptional patient care and client service.
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing in-depth education on treatment plans, procedures, and discharge instructions.
- Coordinate patient care services to ensure efficient workflow and continuity of care.
- Accurately enter and review charges to maintain precise billing and medical records.
- Collaborate with all hospital departments to support seamless communication and patient care.
- Manage and maintain medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence with accuracy and confidentiality.
We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to providing top-tier support to both clients and the veterinary team.
Schedule : Full-time opportunity. We utilize a 3 x 12 hour schedule. Overnight / 3rd Shift, 7pm - 7 am, with rotating weekends and some holidays required.
Compensation : $ 19 - 21 / hr.
Starting range is determined by license, skill set, and years of experience in the field. Financial growth opportunities available.
Shift Differential : A shift differential is offered to associates who work between 10 pm - 6 am.
