VCA Park East Animal Hospital is hiring an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team!
About Us
We are a primary care practice in the upper east side of Manhattan. Our beautiful sate of the art facility has been serving the community for over 20 years. We believe in excellent customer service, gold standard medicine, and teamwork.
We are open Monday through Saturday & closed Sunday.
About the Role
As Veterinary Assistant, you will help create and maintain a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our patients and clients. Duties will include :
- Compassionate patient care
- Client education and care
- Venipuncture and catheter placement
- Radiology and diagnostics
- Lab sample collection and processing
- Surgical preparation and assisting
- Dentistry
- Medication preparation and administration
- Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
- Medical recordkeeping
