What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Technician - Oncology position at VCA Capitol Area Veterinary Specialists?
VCA Capitol Area Veterinary Specialists has an exciting opportunity on their Oncology Team! This is a day shift position Monday - Thursday 0700-1700.
We are looking for an LVT in Texas, with transferable credentials, or VTNE eligible with experience in Oncology.
You will be partnering with our Radiation Oncologist in the mornings where you will monitor anesthesia, run CT, perform expert phlebotomy and physically support your patients.
In the afternoons you will be partnering with our Medical Oncologist providing client communication and support, performing expert phlebotomy skills in the administration of chemotherapy agents.
Compensation starts at : $ 18 - $ 25 / hr negotiable with experience, education and credentials in consideration.
