VCA Veterinary Specialists of the Valley is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to complement our talented team in Woodland Hills, California. The position is in our Surgery Department, full-time, 10-hour shifts 4 days/week, with the flexibility to work at least one weekend shift.

The hourly range for this position is $28-$34 per hour. Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience
- Ability to navigate high-paced workflow with a sense of urgency
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Able to be part of a collaborative team-oriented environment
- Comfortable to ask for help & clarification when needed
- Possesses a high attention to detail
- Able to perform skills including:
- Venipuncture
- Catheter placement
- Radiology & CT
- Anesthesia set up & monitoring
- Knowledge of surgical protocols & procedures
- Patient Assessment
- Laboratory processing
- Pharmacy
- Patient recovery
- Bandage and cast placement
