• Leadership Opportunity: This role provides autonomy and ownership, allowing you to set the medical direction of the hospital with the support of VCA’s resources.
• Small but mighty team with 1 full time DVM (2 or 3 when fully staffed)
• We have a spacious surgical suite, 4 exam rooms, and a spacious lobby. Our facility is equipped with DR radiology, in-house CBC/Chem machines, therapy laser, and an ultrasound machine. 
• Hands-free radiology and Fear free practices are followed 
• AAHA-accredited 
• A dedicated team that enjoys a collaborative environment. Well established in the community for over 50 years, seeing generations as well as new pet families. ​
• Students and new graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive dedicated mentorship 

Schedule You’ll Love:

• Hospital is open 8 AM to 5 PM (no late evenings!)
• Fridays: We’re especially looking for someone available to help us finish the week strong
• Saturdays: Rotating schedule for better work-life balance
• Sundays: Always closed so you can recharge

Cases  

• Patient mix includes canine and feline patients, with a mix of wellness & sickness, surgery appointments. Days are separated into appointments and surgery days.

Compensation 

• Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials.  The annual salary range for this position is $120-130k. Salary range listed is based on a 40 hour work week.   
• This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.

Qualifications 

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent 
• Licensure in good standing to practice in Minnesota, or the ability to obtain 
• A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
