What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Service Representative position at VCA Animal Hospitals?
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and compassionate Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team at VCA Pahle Animal Hospital. As the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, this role is essential in creating a welcoming and supportive experience. If you enjoy working with people, love animals, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to meet you!
QUALIFICATIONS:
• At least one year of proven past experience helping customers
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
• Excellent listening and communication skills
• Compassion for pets and people—as well as awareness and understanding of others’ reactions
• Proven decision-making skills to choose the most appropriate course of action
• The ability to integrate new information into problem-solving
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends and holidays
• The ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and be exposed to hazards associated with pets such as allergies, contagious diseases, noises, odors, bites, scratches, and animal waste
Pay Range: $15–$18 per hour, commensurate with experience
Employment Type: Full-time
Availability: Must be available to work two Saturdays per month
