Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technical Onsite Coordinator (Refrigeration) role based in Minneapolis, MN. The role involves coordinating and supervising installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities for refrigeration systems at client locations, ensuring adherence to technical standards, safety requirements, and project timelines. The Technical Onsite Coordinator will provide hands-on technical support, troubleshoot system issues, and liaise with internal engineering teams and external vendors to resolve problems quickly. The position includes planning daily work schedules, tracking project progress, documenting site activities, and preparing basic technical and status reports. The coordinator will interact directly with clients, address onsite queries, support training for operators or facility staff on system usage, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Strong technical support abilities, preferably with experience in refrigeration systems, HVAC, or related mechanical/electrical equipment.
- 7–10 years, Commercial Refrigeration Engineering background, customer-facing coordination, technical legal exposure, preference for candidates of Indian origin working in the U.S.)
- Effective communication and customer service skills to work closely with clients, site teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated analytical skills to diagnose issues, interpret technical data, and recommend practical solutions.
- Basic project management capabilities to coordinate schedules, manage onsite activities, and track progress against timelines.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Familiarity with safety standards and onsite compliance requirements for industrial or commercial installations.
- Ability to read technical drawings, equipment manuals, and wiring diagrams is highly beneficial.
- Willingness to work at client sites, manage multiple priorities, and handle occasional extended or flexible hours as project needs arise.
