Orthodontic Assistant — Full-Time
We are a well-established state-of-the-art orthodontic practice with two convenient locations in Anderson and Fortville, Indiana, seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented Orthodontic Assistant for a full-time role. We’re looking for an individual who understands the essential role an Orthodontic Assistant plays in delivering exceptional patient care and who shares our passion for excellence in orthodontics.

Job Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans and oral hygiene instructions
- Accurately chart patient information and update records
- Take digital radiographs and patient photos
- Perform intra-oral scanning
- Assist with orthodontic adjustments and procedures
- Prepare teeth for bonding and debonding procedures
- Assist in the placement and removal of orthodontic appliances
- Utilize excellent isolation techniques during bonding procedures
- Sterilize instruments and operatories according to infection control protocols
- Encourage and motivate patients to follow treatment recommendations
- Set up and place brackets
- Manage a fast-paced patient schedule while maintaining attention to detail
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of orthodontic assisting experience (preferred)
- X-ray/radiology certification required
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, high-energy environment
- Experience with indirect bonding and fixed retainers is a plus
