Systems Analyst – Laboratory Information Systems (Contract)
Duration: 16 Weeks (4 Months)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Pay Rate: $58 per hour
Location: Local candidates only
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Systems Analyst with experience in laboratory information systems to support and maintain lab and pathology systems across hospital facilities. This role is critical in ensuring system efficiency, regulatory compliance, and seamless integration across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, support, and maintain laboratory and pathology information systems
- Ensure systems meet hospital operational needs and regulatory compliance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system enhancements and issue resolution
- Participate in multi-departmental and integrated systems testing
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements for efficiency
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for lab-related applications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Systems Analyst or Senior Analyst in a healthcare environment
- Hands-on experience with Cerner Millennium
- Experience with PathNet (Laboratory Information System) preferred
