Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join a dynamic radiology team. The CT Tech will perform routine and select special imaging procedures, assist radiologists, and ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and select special CT imaging procedures
- Prepare and position patients for exams
- Operate, maintain, and care for CT imaging equipment
- Assist radiologists during procedures
- Process and manage images and CDs as needed
- Apply radiation safety and protection principles
- Participate in quality assurance and customer service initiatives
- Maintain compliance with radiology standards of care
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited allied health or radiography program
- ARRT (R) and/or (CT) certification or NMTCB (CNMT) registration
- Advanced CT certification required within 1 year of hire
- BLS certification (AHA) required or must be obtained within 90 days
