Computed Tomography Technologist

• Title: X Ray Tech/ Radiology Technologist
• Location: Port Huron, MI
• Shift: Afternoon & Nights | 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM (Night Shift)| 8 hrs
• Guaranteed Hours/Week: 40 hrs
• Duration: 13 Weeks Contract- With possibly Extension

Pay Details:

• Pay Rate (Local): $50/hr.
• Weekly Gross for traveler: $2,222/Week

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray and CT imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging examinations.
• Operate radiologic and CT equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
• Monitor patient condition during procedures and provide compassionate patient care.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and infection control protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and report maintenance needs when necessary

Must have experience operating the following equipment:

• Toshiba 80 Prime
• Siemens Go Top
• Siemens XR
• GE Portables

Experience with the following systems is required:

• EMR: EPIC
• PACS: Intelerad/Infinit (as applicable)

Requirements:

• ARRT (CT) Certification required.
• Active Michigan Radiologic Technologist License required.
• BLS Certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of recent X-Ray and CT Tech experience preferred.
• Experience working in hospital or acute care settings preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work night shifts and in a fast-paced environment.
