Job Description:
Mammography Technician – Travel Contract
Location: Atlanta, GA
No local candidates within 50 miles.
Schedule: 8-hour Day Shift | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM | Monday–Friday
Pay: $2700 - $2850 Gross Weekly (Stipends included in it)
Hours: 40 hrs/week (Guaranteed)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 01/19/2026
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality mammography exams following established imaging protocols
- Position patients properly for diagnostic breast imaging
- Operate mammography equipment safely and effectively
- Review images for quality and accuracy before submitting to radiologist
- Maintain patient confidentiality and provide compassionate care throughout the procedure
- Follow radiation safety standards and infection control practices
- Assist with equipment calibration, quality control, and documentation as required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Mammography experience
- ARRT (Mammography) certification required
- BLS required
- Strong knowledge of breast imaging techniques and positioning
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient environment
