Registered Nurse (RN) | Correctional Facility
Location: Las Animas, CO 81054
Contract: Travel Contract
Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Hours: 36 Hours
Pay Rate: Up to $55/hr
Weekly Pay: Up to $2,340/week
70 miles Radius Rule
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care and perform patient assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist healthcare providers with examinations and patient treatment.
- Respond to medical emergencies and perform appropriate emergency procedures.
- Conduct sick call and prepare patients for provider evaluations.
- Monitor patient conditions and document care accurately.
- Observe and document patient behavior.
- Maintain security within the medical unit and properly secure supplies and equipment.
- Participate in medical file reviews, reporting, accreditation activities, and operational requirements.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a degree or diploma in Nursing.
- Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of employment.
- Active BLS from AHA is required
- At least one year of professional nursing experience is required.
