We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Provisional Licensed Lawyer to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will assist in a wide range of legal matters, providing essential support to senior attorneys and clients alike. Your responsibilities will include conducting legal research, drafting documents, and supporting case preparation across various practice areas. The ideal candidate is motivated, eager to learn, and possesses a strong foundation in multiple areas of law.Conduct comprehensive legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw to support ongoing cases and legal opinions.Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, memoranda, and correspondence with precision and clarity.Assist in managing case files, organizing evidence, and preparing materials for court proceedings.Support attorneys in negotiations with clients, opposing counsel, or other stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes.Stay informed on developments in estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, litigation, patent law, and landlord-tenant law.Participate in client meetings and interviews to gather relevant information and provide updates on case progress.Maintain accurate records of all legal research and administrative activities within the law office management system.Do court appearances after initial and ongoing training and support with firm's licensed attorney in LA County Superior Courts (Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Stanley Mosk, Compton, Norwalk, Glendale, etc.)Strong research skills with proficiency in LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms.Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise legal drafts and correspondence.Knowledge of diverse practice areas including bankruptcy law, immigration law, personal injury law, civil litigation, and landlord-tenant law, real estate law.Effective negotiation skills to facilitate agreements and resolve disputes efficiently.Legal administrative experience with case management systems and document organization.Ability to interpret complex legal issues and communicate findings effectively.Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
