Position Overview

VB Homes is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Project Expeditor to support our construction team. This role is essential in keeping projects running smoothly by ensuring timely delivery of materials, maintaining organized job sites, and assisting project managers with day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the movement and delivery of materials between locations
• Coordinate pick-up and delivery of materials
• Maintain job site cleanliness, organization, and quality control standards
• Assist Project Managers and Project Associates with onsite construction tasks
• Schedule and coordinate site cleanups with trade partners
• Organize and maintain the VB Homes storage garage
• Install company signage (e.g., no trespassing, variance signs) at job sites
• Ensure job site security, including safeguarding tools and equipment
• Track and accurately report time spent on each project using daily timesheets

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and team members
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to balance timelines, client needs, and costs
• Ability to work independently and stay organized while multitasking
• Physical ability to perform manual labor tasks as needed
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least 1 year of construction industry experience preferred

Compensation & Schedule:

·        $18-$20 per hour, based on experience

·        Full-time schedule
