Vendor Relationship Manager

Position Summary

The Vendor Relationship Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s vendor and supplier ecosystem, including OEMs, distributors, logistics providers, and fulfillment partners. This role will develop strong vendor partnerships, ensure compliance and performance standards are met, and support operational scalability through strategic supplier management.

The ideal candidate has strong relationship management skills, contract and compliance experience, and the ability to drive accountability across a diverse vendor network.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with OEM partners, distributors, logistics providers, and fulfillment vendors.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor communication, issue resolution, and performance management.
• Coordinate vendor onboarding, compliance documentation, and operational requirements.
• Lead recurring vendor business reviews and establish structured performance review cadences.
• Monitor vendor KPIs, service levels, quality standards, and contract compliance.
• Support contract negotiations, renewals, pricing discussions, and service agreements.
• Partner with Operations and Leadership teams to align vendor performance with company objectives.
• Identify opportunities for vendor optimization, cost savings, and operational improvements.
• Maintain vendor records, reporting, and compliance tracking systems.
• Escalate vendor risks or operational concerns as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of experience in vendor management, supply chain, operations, procurement, or account management.
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Experience managing contracts, vendor compliance, and operational partnerships.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with OEMs, distributors, logistics providers, or manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of operational KPIs and supplier performance metrics.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization.
