The Account Coordinator position is the first “entry level” position in the agency, and a public relations professional who will work as part of a larger account team in the agency in a support role. The Account Coordinator will focus almost exclusively on learning critical tactical skills such as media relations, research, different forms of writing, etc., and professional skills, such as listening, interpersonal communication, presenting, working in a team structure, time management/prioritization and personal accountability and transparency.
PLEASE NOTE: 2-3 internships in public relations are absolutely required for this position.

Our Ideal Candidate Has
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication or acceptable related field
- 2-3 internship experiences in public relations or an applicable communication, marketing communication or journalism setting
- Strong tactical writing experience, including press releases, pitch letters, media alerts, collateral copy or digital content
- Above-average public speaking and interpersonal skills
- Above-average analytical, multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Above-average proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment with competing deadlines
- Above-average judgement and problem-solving skills
- Boundless creativity

- Strong digital/social media background
