Vaughn Industries is seeking a Training Specialists to join our growing Workforce Development Department. The trainer will develop, implement, and manage employee training programs. This involves assessing training needs, scheduling, developing and delivering training materials, and conducting training sessions. They also will maintain training records for the company. The trainer will also stay current with any training trends.
Duties will include:
- Identify training needs within the company by working with managers.
- Design and develop and update training materials, including presentations, manuals, and online resources, ensuring they align with industry standards and company policies.
- Schedule, organize, and facilitate training sessions, which may include on-the-job training, classroom-based instruction, or online courses.
- Maintain accurate training records for all employees, including certifications, licenses, attendance, and completion dates.
- Effectively communicate training information to workforce and management.
- Stay up-to-date on best practices in training and development and incorporate new methods and technologies into training programs.
- Conduct regular audits of training records to ensure compliance.
- Promote training opportunities for employees, encouraging participation and a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Develop training aids such as manuals and handbooks.
- Develop training plans for individual jobs within the company
- Minimum two years’ previous experience as a trainer, training specialist, or related position
- Proven experience in developing and delivering training materials
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experience with training software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
