Join our team as a General Accountant and play an important role in keeping our accounting operations accurate, efficient, and running smoothly.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable accounting professional to support our Carey, Ohio office. This position offers the opportunity to work across multiple areas of accounting, collaborate with the Accounting Department, and contribute to process improvements that make a real impact.
What You'll Do
- Support key accounting functions including payroll, job costing, and accounts payable
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Handle withholding tax remittances and other tax-related responsibilities
- Support internal audit activities and help maintain strong internal controls
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate with the Accounting Department and provide support wherever needed
- Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned by the Controller
