Position Overview
Configures PCs, VOIP phones, iOS devices, network devices. Works with vendors to maintain the devices. Responds to end user queries.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Responds to user queries and technical support issues.
- Performs setup and configuration of PCs.
- Deploys desktop software including anti-virus, office productivity applications, enterprise applications, etc.
- Configures and troubleshoots VOIP phones with the help of vendor’s technical support.
- Configures and troubleshoots iOS devices with the help of vendor’s technical support.
- Troubleshoots and arranges repairs of PCs with the help of vendor’s technical support.
- Assists in creation and updating of procedures and documentation
- Administers employee termination IT Administrator.
- Promotes teamwork and positive communication among employees.
- Assists in researching and implementing new software/hardware initiatives in the company.
- Performs other duties and services to ensure a successful functioning of information systems.
- Promotes Core Values of the Company and maintains excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Highschool Diploma with Information Technology specific training or exposure.
- Must have a clean and valid Driver’s License and a personal vehicle
- Position may involve occasional travel, mostly driving
- Good understanding of PCs, office network devices such as printers, scanners, VOIP phones, etc.
- Basic understanding of networking (IP Addresses, DNS, etc.)
- Good communication skills
- Ability to deal with vendors and push open items to completion
- Exposure to Audio-Visual systems is a plus
