Grounds Keeper/ General Laborer Needed/CDL Driver

What You’ll Do:

 Use a lawn mower, and other tools to trim grass and edge lawn areas

· Operate backpack blower and gather leaves, hedge trimmings, and debris for removal

· Use pruners and trimmers to remove shrub and tree overgrowth

· Load and unload lawn care tools into/from work trucks

· Operate, clean, and maintain all painting equipment, including brush, roll, sprayers, and pumps.

· Must understand the proper and necessary use of protective materials

· Maintain and use necessary hand tools

· Must understand how to properly store materials, contain particulate matter and have a solid understanding for environmental regulations

· Be able to climb ladders 

· Have CDL for hauling vehicles on trailer

Qualifications:

    · High school diploma or equivalen

    · 1–2 years of lawn care or groundskeeping experience

    · Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation

    · Able to repeatedly lift and move 50 pounds

    · Able to sit, stand, kneel, climb, and lift

    · Able to wear respirator and other Personal Protective Equipment

    · Able to work in all weather conditions- including heat and humidity

    · Strong communication and customer service skills

    · Strong work ethic and positive attitude

    · Self-starter who can manage time effectively

    · Willing to learn and to follow instructions

    · Able to demonstrate strong safety practices and understand safety policies

    · Can work independently and as part of a team environment

    · Experience using lawn care equipment preferred (e.g., lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, pruning saws, weed eaters)
