ROLE SUMMARY:
Vaughan Executive Partners has partnered with a leading multi-state convenience retail organization is seeking a strategic and commercially focused Category Manager – Packaged Beverages to lead a high-volume, high-impact category. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, profitability, innovation, and customer engagement through effective category management, supplier partnerships, and data-driven decision-making.
Reporting to senior merchandising leadership, the successful candidate will play a key role in shaping category strategy and executing initiatives that enhance customer experience and business performance across a large retail network

Key Responsibilitie
- s:Own and manage the full P&L performance of assigned packaged beverage categorie
- s.Develop and execute annual business plans, category strategies, and multi-year growth roadmap
- s.Lead supplier negotiations, contract management, and joint business planning initiative
- s.Analyze POS data, customer insights, syndicated research, and market trends to identify growth opportunitie
- s.Drive new item introductions, commercialization efforts, and category reset executio
- n.Develop assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies to maximize sales and margin performanc
- e.Partner closely with Marketing, Loyalty, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure successful execution of category initiative
- s.Monitor supplier scorecards, performance metrics, and financial commitment
