VATIVAR Cleaning Systems is a Janitorial company providing cleaning services in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We have vacancies on our team for Janitors to work across several buildings.
We are looking for responsible individuals to perform janitorial and cleaning type duties at our Taunton, MA Location. It is important to be careful and thorough in working, cleaning and tidying the premises.
The ideal candidate does not need to be experienced in a custodian role. But the ideal candidate should have the physical endurance to cover a large space, a keen eye for detail and diligence.
Janitor and Custodian Responsibilities
· Taunton, MA Location
· Monday to Friday (Start at 10am) Saturday (Start at 7pm) Part-time 13 Hours Total Per Week.
· Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by:
· Sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets
· Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks and restock disposables (e.g. soap)
· Wipe mirrors
Janitor and Custodian Requirements
· Proven experience as custodian, janitor or in a similar role preferred but not required
· Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances preferred but not required
· Attention to detail and conscientiousness
· Very good physical condition and strength
· High school diploma is preferred but not required
· Must be reliable, punctual and trustworthy
Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable transportation.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Background check will be performed before employment
