Material Cost Book CoordinatorKey ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and manage material cost books across multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely updates and accuracy.Collaborate closely with Engineering teams to ensure the Cost Book accurately reflects the Bill of Materials (BOM).Partner with Cost Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing teams to maintain the most up-to-date material cost information.Prepare and present the Project Total Product Cost (TPC) status and month-over-month cost evolution on a monthly basis.Support projects in achieving TPC targets by validating forecast reliability and monitoring cost assumptions.Manage provision consumption in coordination with the project team and track cost impacts.Benchmark costs against other projects to identify pricing inconsistencies and improvement opportunities.Analyze material cost data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization.Essential Skills RequiredExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong analytical and synthesis mindset with attention to detail.Proficiency in Excel and other IT tools for data analysis and reporting.Working proficiency in English.Strong data analysis and reporting skills.Prior experience or knowledge of the automotive industry is a plus.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering or an advanced degree in Business or a related field.Proficiency in NX and Teamcenter.Strong working knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.Experience with Power BI and Tableau is an added advantage.Advantageous ExperienceAutomotive industry experience (mandatory or strongly preferred).Experience in automotive cost reduction or “Should Cost” analysis.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.ThanksSuchisuchi@vastekgroup.comCompany DescriptionVastek Inc is managed by a group of dedicated professionals having rich experience of over years in Healthcare, IT consulting and staffing.
