POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for developing, executing, and reporting on strategic marketing plans for designated brands, including social media marketing, digital marketing, and local marketing initiatives designed to attract new customers and maintain relationships with loyal guests.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES
- Serve on the property leadership team.
- Develop, manage, and execute marketing plans with S.M.A.R.T. goals for assigned brands.
- Manage property marketing budgets.
- Report on overall marketing efforts on a routine basis.
- Manage digital asset databases, including releases, images, videos, and brand assets.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for photo shoots.
- Act as an on-property brand ambassador, ensuring all brand materials align with established brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with operations teams to create and enhance guest experiences.
- Attend local educational and networking events to increase knowledge, skills, and brand awareness.
- Build and implement social media strategies using industry research, digital benchmarking, audience identification, and measurable goals.
- Develop and execute plans to grow the online presence of each brand.
- Lead day-to-day social media marketing activities, including:
- Creating engaging content calendars.
- Building relationships with industry professionals and influencers.
- Managing community engagement through comments, messages, mentions, and reviews.
- Monitoring and responding to online interactions to foster brand loyalty and trust.
- Reporting on social media performance and recommending growth strategies.
- Analyzing KPIs and adjusting strategies as needed.
- Staying current on social media trends, tools, and best practices.
- Capturing photography and video content for marketing purposes.
- Maintain the property's online presence through accurate business information and imagery.
- Respond to online reviews as needed.
- Create and distribute newsletters.
- Assist with online menu distribution for outlets.
- Conduct regular online audits to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
- Develop and execute paid social media campaigns to maximize ROI.
- Develop and manage digital advertising campaigns.
- Lead marketing efforts for on-site activations, including the design and distribution of marketing materials.
- Manage design projects and implementation of marketing collateral and touchpoints.
- Cultivate and strengthen local partnerships through events, sponsorships, and promotional opportunities.
- Expand media and influencer outreach efforts while collaborating with local Convention and Visitors Bureaus.
- Lead public relations initiatives.
- Leverage available brand-affiliated marketing resources and support.
Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned based on business needs and operational requirements.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- 2–4 years of experience in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Outlook, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and other marketing tools.
- Understanding of social media KPIs and their application to overall strategy.
- Knowledge of major social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and YouTube.
- Strong photography and videography skills, including basic editing capabilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
- Ability to maintain professional social media profiles and represent the brand positively.
- Experience managing business social media accounts.
- Hospitality industry experience preferred.
- Knowledge of online marketing and major digital marketing channels.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Requires prolonged periods of sitting, as well as occasional walking, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
- May require lifting or moving items up to 20 pounds.
- Requires repetitive use of hands for writing, typing, and other office-related tasks.
