Job Overview

• Position: Director of Staff Development (DSD) - LVN
• Location: Vasona Creek Healthcare Center, Los Gatos, CA
• Schedule: Full-Time
• Salary: $103,000 - $105,000 / year

Key Responsibilities

• Training: Plan, develop, and direct all in-service educational programs for clinical staff.
• Compliance: Ensure all training programs meet federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
• Onboarding: Conduct orientation and competency evaluations for new clinical hires.
• Records: Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of employee training and CEU records.
  
  

Requirements

• Licensure: Active, unencumbered California LVN license.
• Certification: Valid California DSD certification required.
• Experience: Previous experience as a DSD in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility is strictly required.
