Responsibilities/Functions
- Install elevator interior components (walls, ceilings, floors, handrails, etc.) based on custom designs and blueprints.
- Read and interpret project drawings, specifications, and work orders.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ensure precise fit and finish of materials, including cutting, trimming, and aligning panels and finishes.
- Perform site preparation and job cleanup as needed.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, customers, and other contractors on-site.
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to site-specific requirements (PPE, access rules, etc.).
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment.
- Document installation progress and report any issues or deviations from plans.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- CC license preferred
- 2 years of experience in elevator interiors, millwork, finish carpentry, or related field preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and at varying heights.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Must be willing to travel to job sites (local or regional); overnight travel may be required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Demonstrates awareness of all health and safety protocols.
- Experience working with stainless steel, wood veneer, laminate, or decorative metal panels.
- Knowledge of elevator code compliance (e.g., ASME A17.1).
- OSHA 10/30 certification or equivalent safety training.
- Familiarity with digital measuring tools and laser levels.
- Exhibits strong interpersonal & communications skills.

- The majority of working hours will be spent in the field at project installation sites.
- Overtime hours occasionally may be required.
- Some areas of the job site may be hazardous so protective gear should be worn when appropriate.
- $28.00 -$33.00 per hour commensurate with experience & education
- Medical, dental and vision benefits available after 60 days
- 3 weeks paid vacation per year, accrued bi-weekly
- 5 paid holidays per year
