Interventional Radiology PA or NP wanted for busy Chicagoland and IN IR Practice
Vascular and Interventional Professionals, LLC. (VIR Chicago) is currently seeking a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their current practice of 10 Physicians and 7 Advanced Practice Providers in the southwest suburbs.
Daily responsibilities would include:
- Inpatient daily rounding, including seeing consultations and writing progress notes
- Placing routine orders, including medications, imaging, and pertinent labs
- Coordinate treatment plans with the supervising physician(s) and other members of the patient's health care team
- Performing various ultrasound and fluoroscopic procedures, including but not limited to: paracentesis, thoracentesis, central venous access, tunneled and nontunneled hemodialysis catheter placements, port placement and removal, PICC placements, thyroid biopsies, chest tubes, and pleurX catheter placements.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program
- NCCPA or AANP/ANCC certified
- BLS and ACLS certified
- Current DEA license
- Hours are Monday through Friday, 8-4:30. 1:8 Weekend Coverage. Your weekend coverage is a shifted work week, not additional days worked.
