Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. Duties:
- Perform physical examinations and health assessments
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and interpret test results
- Assist with minor surgical procedures using aseptic technique
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide education to patients and their families on disease prevention, management, and self-care techniques
- Ensure infection control measures are followed to maintain a safe environment
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in NY state
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficient in performing physical examinations, including vital signs assessment
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
