As Group Lead you will oversee the day-to-day operations and supervise a team of drivers while conducting random audits to ensure service is being delivered as outlined by our customers

Position Requirements

• We are looking for experienced candidates that have a level of knowledge in the production field and can direct and lead a team of 25 employees.
• Experience with meeting valid external customer requirements, supervisory/managerial capabilities, process management, and PC skills.
• Provide clear written and verbal instruction to employees and promptly address any questions or concerns.
• Educate and train new team members as well provide support for the Yard Manager.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are always obeyed.
• Planning daily activities and delegating tasks.
• Analyze group performed and make recommendations for improvement.
• Follow company policies and procedures
  
  

Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience:

Education

• 4-year college degree or 4 years’ management experience.
  
  

Training

• Demonstrated “expert” level usage of MS office products including Excel, Access, and Power Point.
• Understanding and experience with Total Quality management

This Position Requires The Following Physical Demands

• Lifting up to 25 lbs. 1-3 hrs. throughout the day
• Standing 6-8 hours/day
• Walking, 6-8 hrs./day (
• Reach above shoulder level 1-3 hrs./day and
• Bend, Stoop, Squat, and or twist-Repeatedly throughout day.
