Vasco Assets is a Newport Beach-based private firm specializing in luxury asset acquisitions, resale, and client advisory services. We work closely with clients in a confidential, high-trust environment to facilitate the buying and selling of high-value items, including jewelry, watches, and other luxury assets.
Position Overview:We seek a motivated Luxury Asset Sales & Acquisition Specialist with a strong focus on both acquiring and selling high-value items such as jewelry, watches, and other luxury assets. This role involves working directly with clients to evaluate, acquire, and facilitate the sale of luxury assets while providing a high level of service and professionalism.
You will work closely with the Senior Buyer, helping guide clients through high-value transactions in a transparent and consultative manner. This is a relationship-driven role with a strong emphasis on building long-term client trust rather than transactional selling.
Key Responsibilities:- Luxury Asset Acquisition: Evaluate, authenticate, and negotiate the purchase of jewelry, watches, and other high-value assets from clients.
- Client Advisory & Sales: Guide clients in purchasing luxury items from inventory, offering thoughtful recommendations based on their needs and preferences.
- Customer Engagement: Build strong, long-term relationships with clients in a confidential, trust-based environment.
- Jewelry & Watch Evaluation: Assess quality, authenticity, and market value while staying informed on industry trends.
- Negotiation & Pricing: Educate clients on resale values and present fair, competitive offers in a transparent manner.
- Account Management: Maintain consistent follow-up, track client interactions, and support ongoing relationships.
- Email & Digital Outreach: Engage with inbound leads and client inquiries across digital platforms.
- Brand & Content Support: Assist with product presentation, visuals, and client-facing content to support the firm’s brand presence.
- Proven ability to build relationships through personalized communication and follow-up
- Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism in client-facing environments
- Experience in luxury sales, acquisitions, or customer account management
- Familiarity with CRM systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred, not required)
- Experience with watches, jewelry, coins, or collectible assets
- GIA Graduate Gemologist certification or equivalent experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Analytical mindset for evaluating assets and client needs
- Experience with digital marketing, content, or online sales platforms
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling valuable client assets
- Attention to detail and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Strong sense of ownership and initiative
- Hourly Pay: $25–$35 (based on experience)
