Job description
The coating laborer performs a variety of tasks under close supervision of higher-level employees. These tasks may include assisting with extra workload.
Responsibilities:
Basic cleaning of equipment, maintains a job site area free from debris and dirt
Readies or puts away tools as assigned.
Uses equipment and tools to prepare job site (leaf blower, weed trimmer, rake, shovel)
Assist with grass and weed removal, shoveling and raking gravel and dirt, and pressure washing
Closely follows directions to hold or supply materials and tools
Load or unload job materials (use of a wheel barrel)
Report any issues to supervisor or higher-level employee.
Skills
Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.
Education and Experience
No previous experience required
Ability to use hand tools
Job training for this position is provided by the field foremen / supervisor.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods standing, walking, bending, stretching, and kneeling
Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds at times.
Must be able to work in outdoor weather conditions
Applicants must have a valid non-restrictive Florida Driver’s License, be able to pass drug and alcohol screening, undergo a pre-employment background check, and be able to work flexible hours with overtime. This is a year-round position. Rate of pay is commensurate on experience.
