Tasks:
• Independently prioritize and carry out work requested from multiple communication lanes
• Communicate and correspond both orally and in writing with suppliers and customers in a polite and professional manner
• Carry out mechanical and cosmetic reworks of non-conformities, adjustments, replacements, and calibrations
• Install, file, sand, paint, etc. decorative laminate ("declam")
• Troubleshoot electrical systems
• Replace electrical connectors, terminal lugs, and wires
• Apply requested modifications
• Document reworks
Requirements:
• Ability to work second shift schedule with shift flexibility, travel, and work OT
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently or as a team in a fast-paced environment
• Have high standards for your work
• Ability to clear a background check, drug screen, and obtain an Airbus badge and passport
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and internal software applications
• Must be able to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, and work stand unassisted
• Must be able to bend, kneel, crawl and stoop frequently in confined spaces
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Must be willing to work in an environment that is subject to changing climate conditions and moderate noise levels
Preferred Qualifications:
• Minimum educational requirement: Associate degree or equivalent job training
• Technical/mechanical background such as A&P mechanic, automotive mechanic, cabinetmaking, or comparable experience
• Willingness to travel
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Work experience that demonstrates longevity and commitment.
• Be reliable and able to work independently and/or with a team in accordance with drawings and work instructions
