As an Avionics Technician IV, you will be using your skills and expertise to perform avionics maintenance according to FCC, FAA and company policies and regulations. This position demands hands-on proficiency with harness assembly and aircraft modification, including harness routing, connector termination, ring-out, and functional testing. These specialized skills are crucial to ensure the proper integration and performance of complex aircraft systems during modification projects. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate experience with terminating the following connector types:
Experience with TRIAX, QUADRAX, Fiber-Optic assemblies, and El Ochito RF Connectors is not required but would certainly be a nice-to-have. |

Must-haves: Must have own tools in good working order Ability to understand and interpret moderately complex, technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications; ability to route wires per technical drawings Advanced skills with moderately complex avionics installation tooling, wiring, wiring repair, wiring installation, soldering' and crimping techniques Preferred: Familiarity with FCC and FCC GROLAbility to mentor and guide subordinatesBasic understanding of spectrometer, Oscilloscope and/or Pitot static equipment Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US MilitaryAbility to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required |
