Emphasizes clarity, conciseness, and accuracy in conveying complex information and connects technical writing to software development, engineering, healthcare, and scientific communication applications.
- Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with technical writing curricula and common challenges such as adapting writing for non-expert audiences, structuring complex information logically, and integrating visuals effectively. Adapts instruction using real-world document projects, peer usability testing, and style guide adherence exercises to support undergraduate students and professionals developing technical communication skills across STEM and business fields.
- Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
