Emphasizes clinical reasoning and systems-based thinking, connecting pathophysiology to evidence-based nursing care, diagnostic medicine, and treatment planning.
• Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with pathophysiology curricula and common challenges such as understanding complex immune cascades, distinguishing similar disease presentations, and integrating knowledge across multiple body systems simultaneously. Adapts instruction using clinical case studies, pathology images, and concept mapping to support nursing and pre-medical students building the disease knowledge foundation essential for clinical practice.
• Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
