Ability to explain semantic markup, responsive design principles, ARIA roles, and SEO-friendly structure while preparing students for web development, digital media, and front-end engineering pathways.
- Conceptual Teaching & Problem-Solving: Skilled at teaching web page structure, form design, and accessible markup practices. Guides students through creating well-structured HTML documents, building forms with validation attributes, embedding media elements, applying semantic tags for accessibility, and linking HTML with CSS stylesheets and JavaScript files. Emphasizes clean, standards-compliant code and connects HTML to responsive web design and modern development workflows.
- Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with HTML curricula and common challenges such as understanding document flow, distinguishing block from inline elements, and implementing accessibility best practices. Adapts instruction using live coding demonstrations, code editor exercises, and progressive web page building projects to support students from complete beginners through those integrating HTML into full-stack web development skills.
- Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
